The Kene Kene Jamengo Mosque in Gunjur, The Gambia, is one of the most meaningful spiritual places in The Gambia. Built from sand & natural materials in the early 20th century, the mosque still stands today as a symbol of faith, hope & peace.
Months before my journey to The Gambia, I already dreamed of visiting this mystical place. When that dream finally became reality, I felt a sense of calm & connection unlike anything I had ever experienced before.
