This is for Maddox…
My great love and best friend, whom I had to say goodbye to in September 2025, and whose presence profoundly reshaped my perspective, opening new ways of seeing what truly matters.
Unconditional love, as I learned it from Maddox, is a love that can never be replaced, neither by a human nor by another animal. It is a love that gave me a sense of home, a bond that existed as a pure symbiosis, lived entirely through energy. And even though his love no longer exists in its physical form, its meaning and essence continue to live on within me.
From this experience of love, loss, and grief grew a deep desire to give something back. This longing has led to a meaningful engagement in stray dog rescue, just like Maddox once was in his early days, before I adopted him. While this project is still in its early stages, it is a heartfelt mission. More will be revealed in due time.

This poster series holds thirteen lessons Maddox taught me (in German, our language), one for each year of his life, and for each of the eleven years we shared together. Each lesson carries a fragment of who he was and a memory he left behind. Together, they form his lasting legacy.
